Upon arrival, there was no damage whatsoever to the product. However, this was one of the easiest pieces to ever put together as the base comes fully intact. It’s basically putting on the two cushions top and bottom. So far, I am loving this piece. It does seem as though the bottom has a high angle curving up, but it is actually quite comfortable.
