Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm were Danish designers who redefined modernist luxury in the 1960s. Trained as a cabinetmaker and blacksmith respectively, they fused meticulous craftsmanship with an architectural sense of proportion, bringing refined steelwork and sculptural upholstery to the forefront.
