We're Eco Friendly Furniture

Committed to making our business 100% carbon free.

We’re deepening our commitment to eco-friendly energy by focusing on using renewable resources in every part of our production process. To address unavoidable emissions, we’re collaborating with Conservation International on projects that protect and restore vital ecosystems like grasslands, swamps, and forests.

Most Sohnne® products are made from sturdy materials like wood, acrylic, leather, and aluminum, ensuring your furniture is built to last. We’re also incorporating recycled aluminum into all Sohnne® devices with aluminum enclosures, and our goal is to make every product carbon-free by 2030 by increasing the use of recycled materials.

Shop for Furniture Sustainably

Eco-friendly furniture is designed to minimize its impact on the environment. This means using wood from renewable sources and ensuring that any chemicals used do not harm or pollute the environment. Additionally, resources are used efficiently, including minimizing delivery distances and mileage, while maintaining practicality.

Environmentally friendly furniture can also refer to pieces made from recycled materials, representing green living at its finest. By transforming discarded and unused items into something new and exciting, this approach keeps waste out of landfills and reduces the need for energy-intensive production using virgin resources. Ideal materials for recycling into furniture include floorboards, railway sleepers, and wood cladding.

Many low-cost furniture items are not made in the U.S. Adding to this, the mileage involved in actually delivering furniture to stores and to its final destination, plus the mileage incurred by the consumer as they shop around, significantly increases our carbon footprint. To combat this, Sohnne® focuses on optimizing our logistics to reduce transportation distances, ensuring a more sustainable and environmentally friendly approach.
