Love this table! It took a while to arrive but it was worth the wait. After ordering it, I was nervous that there might be metal bars at the bottom of the basket blocking my view from the table top to the floor. But it didn't. You can see the floor from the table top. We bought the 54" size and the glass required three adults to lift the glass and place it on the base. The glass has a nice beveled edge and with its weight, I don't see it moving an inch if someone accidentally bumped into it. As a side note... my husband loves the new look this table provides. It was called a good day in our house when we both agreed that the purchase was money well spent.
