Hand-Woven Cord Backrest

Each backrest is wrapped by hand, cord over cord, with the two tones shifting mid-row to form the chevron. The weave flexes slightly under weight, giving the back support without a rigid panel behind it.

Open-Loop Teak Frame

The armrest returns to the frame in a closed rectangle, pinned at the junction with a wood dowel. It carries the load like a truss — no brackets, no screws, and the chair stays visually light from every angle.

Tied Bouclé Cushion

The flecked bouclé cushion sits loose on the cord platform and fastens with a single leather tie, so it stays put without hardware. Lift the tie and the cushion comes off for cleaning or reupholstery.

Tapered Solid Legs

Each leg is turned from solid teak and thins toward the floor, with the grain running unbroken to the end. A flush black glide protects hardwood and keeps the chair sliding cleanly under the table.
