Hand-Shaped Armrests

Each armrest is carved from solid walnut and tapered to a soft paddle, then hand-sanded to a smooth satin finish. It meets the frame in one flowing line, positioned to support the forearm at natural dining height.

Dense Bouclé Upholstery

The looped bouclé weave is thick, soft to the touch, and resilient enough to hold its shape through daily use. Its natural cream tone carries subtle depth that shifts with the light.

Felt-Tipped Walnut Legs

Each turned walnut leg is rounded at the tip and fitted with a recessed felt glide, so the chair slides across hardwood without scratching. The grain runs continuous to the very end — no plastic cap, no visible hardware.

Exposed Dowel Joinery

A curved lower stretcher ties the legs together and carries the load through the frame, reinforced by vertical slats beneath the seat. Round walnut dowels sit flush at every junction — the structure is honest and left on show.
