Tapered Upholstered Back

The back narrows as it rises and finishes in a soft radius at each top corner, with the fabric pulled taut across the curve so the surface stays smooth. A single fine seam traces the perimeter — the only interruption on the face.

Double-Layer Seat

A separate piped cushion rests on the shell's own padded base, so you sit on two layers of give rather than one. Matching piping on both edges keeps the seam line reading as a deliberate detail instead of a joint.

Curved Wood Apron

Each leg flows out of a shaped apron in one continuous curve rather than butting into a square frame. The transition is machined and sanded smooth, with no brackets or fasteners breaking the line.

Fully Wrapped Shell

Upholstery carries around the back of the shell in one unbroken surface, so the chair looks finished from every side. It meets the wood base in a clean, straight line with no exposed frame or raw edge.
