Grand Papilio Chair with Ottoman

No Frame, No Legs

Nothing structural is visible anywhere. The chair rises from the floor as one upholstered mass — base, body, seat and wings in a single unbroken form.

Wings That Reach

The back narrows at the waist and flares wide at the top into two swept wings with a hollow between them. High enough to lean your head into, open enough not to close you in.

One Seam

The entire reverse is closed with a single vertical line of stitching, floor to crown. That’s the only break in the surface — which is why the chair reads from behind as well as in front.

Turns in Place

A polished chrome ring at the base lets the whole thing swivel. A chair this large stays where you put it and still faces wherever you want.
