How does the modular connection system work?

Every module connects using solid brass rings and stainless steel carabiners on a polypropylene cord — clip together, rearrange, or separate without tools. The system is the same across every module in the series, so pieces bought at different times connect without adapters or modifications. The brass hardware is load-bearing, not cosmetic, so the connection holds firmly in daily use regardless of configuration.

What makes the fabric suitable for demanding everyday use?

The upholstery is a performance-grade fabric engineered to resist UV fading, moisture, staining, and abrasion — properties typically required in commercial and high-traffic applications. It does not pill or lose its surface quality under sustained contact the way standard upholstery fabrics do. The seat, backrest, and armrest components are individually removable, so you can clean each piece separately without moving the full configuration.

Can this be used outdoors?

Yes. The fabric's UV and moisture resistance makes it one of the few modular sofa systems that transitions genuinely well from an interior living space to a covered terrace or outdoor lounge. The solid wood feet have plastic ferrules that protect both the feet and the floor surface. Avoid prolonged direct rainfall exposure on the cushions, but a covered outdoor setting is well within what the materials handle comfortably.

Honestly could not believe how good this is in person

The shipping took longer than the original estimate, which had me nervous. But when it arrived I was genuinely blown away by how precise it is compared to the original, the brass rings and carabiners are the real deal and not some simplified version, and the leather feels luxurious and classy in a way I was not expecting at this price point. My apartment instantly looks like a completely different space. Best investment I've made for my home this year, full stop.

The sofa looks amazing and is very comfortable. However, the fabric did have a slight smell when it first arrived, but it faded right away the next 2 days. I guess it's just a normal brand new furniture smell. Overall, the sofa is excellent, materials are high quality, and I’m very happy with the purchase.
