How does the modular connection system work?

Each module connects to the next using solid brass rings and stainless steel carabiners threaded through a polypropylene cord. You clip, hook, and adjust — no tools, no fixed joints, no permanent configuration. You can rearrange the layout in minutes, add a new module later, or separate pieces entirely when you move. The brass hardware is structural, not decorative, which is why the connection holds firmly under load.

What is aniline leather, and will it last?

Aniline leather is dyed through with transparent dye rather than coated on the surface, which keeps the natural grain of the hide fully visible and the leather genuinely breathable. It develops a personal patina with use — deepening in tone and character — rather than cracking, peeling, or fading the way coated leather does. The seat, backrest, and armrest components are all removable for cleaning, which keeps the leather in good condition without specialist maintenance.

Can I buy one module now and expand the configuration later?

Yes, and this is the point of the system. Every module — armless, left armrest, right armrest, corner, and ottoman — shares the same connector hardware, the same cushion height, and the same aniline leather upholstery. A module you buy now connects seamlessly to one you buy later. The configuration is yours to decide and revise over time, which is what separates a genuinely modular system from a sofa that simply comes in sections.

Worth The Wait

shipping took a bit longer than expected but tbhh it was worth the wait! I’d been hunting for a camaleonda dupe for weeks for my new house, and I’m soo glad I went with this one!

I was honestly skeptical the modules from two separate orders would connect cleanly but everything lined up perfectly with the carabiner system. Reconfigured the whole setup in about twenty minutes when I rearranged my living room and it held solid. Worth the wait.
