I really like this chair and backrest, I will probably buy it in another color. It is very comfortable and cushioned and supports my back very well. I used to sell furniture and I am quite critical in buying chairs.What I like about this chair is that not only is it luxurious, but the material is also easy to clean. I did so much research to find a comfy chair for a reading nook I'm making in our old Victorian house, and finally decided to spring for this one. It is absolutely perfect and it is exactly what I needed. It is stylish and has enough of an old-timey vibe to work. So far the cats have taken it over most of the time, lol, but my hubby instantly fell asleep in it the moment he snuggled in, and didn't stir for 3 hours! Best chair ever!

Is it easy to assemble? Fairly so. Getting the seat and back aligned to screw them together was a little challenging. Not too horrible, though.I thought from the photos that the legs were plastic. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they're wood.Does this look like a $3,000 chair? Yes, yes it does. But that's okay because I paid $1,779 for it. Still cute though. Igot the darker brown. It's a little brighter than anticipated, and it's also a bit shinier than I thought it would be. That's always a risk when you buy online, though. If I needed it to be perfect I wouldn't have shopped online. This was meant to be a chair to fill the window nook in my home office, not a stately living room piece, so I don't mind.Is it comfortable? Depends. If you hate a firm chair, you'll hate this chair. It's very firm. Like a bench with a seat pad on it. If you love a firm chair, or even if you could take or leave a firm chair, I think you'll like it. I personally like firm chairs, and this one was well designed to fit the human form, so even though it's firm, it's supportive in all the right places and it feels good to sit in. I sat in this chair for an hour earlier and I had no problem with comfort.

Super easy to put together and a fabulous chair. It is sturdy but incredibly comfortable. I bought it as a reading chair for my bedroom and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve had chairs that are super comfy but don’t hold their shape and therefore aren’t supportive enough but this is not that. It has a great structure that supports your lower back for long periods of time but is still comfortable enough to endure a lengthy sit.

easy/fast to assemblewell packagedmatches description onlineall pieces arrived (i have bought stuff to be assembled in the past with missing screws or broken pieces)does not get 5 stars because the caps protecting the end of the legs /or the floor and to facilitate sliding are different for the front legs than from the back legs- the front legs are like transparent spheres (and invisible). the back legs are like white flat pills and the worst is that they are VISIBLE. So it looks quite **** to have the white rubber stuff showing when the legs are black dark! i will paint them.... but....Also the legs are quite sensitive- the dark tint came off just from touching the floor while building it.The seat is comfortable and stylish, and the fabric is nice- not as voluminous as those other wingback style that are for sale in every single other website.

This is a great chair at this price point, high quality materials, looks good, sturdy, easy to assemble. Measure though, it's accurate to the dimensions specified but was smaller than I expected, ended up being too small for where I was planning on using it...

These complimented my basement sofa perfectly. I needed something that added a little color so the brown leather works perfectly. The price was reasonable. The chairs are wide enough for guests with more generous physiques. I will say they sit a bit low to the ground but the angle is perfect for lazily slouching. The material is real leather and just so very beautiful. I really like it.
