Artefatto is a London and Milan-based multidisciplinary design studio founded in 2015. Driven by curiosity and experimentation, the studio operates at the intersection of art, design, and visual culture—blurring the lines between function and sculpture. In 2018, the studio launched Secolo, a design brand that embodies Artefatto’s more expressive, gallery-driven aesthetic. With a strong focus on timelessness and emotional impact, Secolo collections fuse Italian craftsmanship with artistic abstraction—producing furniture pieces that feel both avant-garde and enduring.

A standout creation is the Tateyama Sofa, a sculptural seating piece inspired by organic landforms and Japanese minimalism. Characterized by its soft curves, asymmetry, and architectural presence, the Tateyama blurs the boundary between furniture and art object. It has become an icon of contemporary collectible design—distinctive, daring, and unmistakably Secolo.
