Question 1

Who is Poul Kjærholm?

Accepted Answer

Poul Kjærholm was a pioneering Danish furniture designer who brought a new language to mid-century modernism. By combining industrial materials like steel with traditional elements such as leather and wood, he achieved an aesthetic that is both minimalist and deeply tactile. His pieces are now considered classics in museums and private collections worldwide.

Question 2

What materials are used in the Poul Kjærholm collection replicas?

Accepted Answer

These reproductions are crafted using premium materials—satin-brushed stainless steel frames, hand-finished or aniline leathers, tempered glass tops, and high-density foam cushions—to closely honor Kjærholm’s original craftsmanship and ensure long-lasting quality.

Question 3

Do the Poul Kjærholm replicas require assembly?

Accepted Answer

Most pieces ship fully assembled or require only minimal setup, such as placing a glass top on a frame. All items are designed for straightforward installation so they can be enjoyed immediately.

Question 4

How should I care for these pieces?

Accepted Answer

Wipe stainless steel with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately to maintain its luster. Condition leather periodically with a neutral leather conditioner and protect it from direct sunlight to preserve color and texture. Glass tops can be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner, and upholstered elements should be vacuumed or lightly brushed to maintain freshness.
