Return and Refund Policy

At Sohnne, we offer a 365-day return policy for customers worldwide, underscoring our confidence in the quality of each product we ship. We designed this extended return window to allow you to fully experience your furniture in your home before making a long-term commitment. While most customers are highly satisfied with their purchase, this policy provides reassurance in the event a return becomes necessary.

Return requests are subject to review and must meet the terms outlined in this policy. Approval is based on the item’s condition, supporting documentation, and the use of original packaging. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  1. Be in new, unused condition
  2. Be returned in its original, undamaged packaging
  3. Be supported by complete documentation, including:
    • An unboxing video recorded at the time of delivery
    • Photos showing the product’s current condition
    • Proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or invoice

The following are not eligible for return:

  1. Items that have been scratched, stained, assembled, or altered in any way
  2. Items that have been damaged due to external causes, including accidents, misuse, or abuse
  3. Items returned without original packaging
  4. Incomplete documentation (missing unboxing video, photos, or proof of purchase)

We require the unboxing video to confirm whether any damage occurred during delivery. Without it, return requests may be denied.

Please note that all packages being returned must move back into transit with the approved carrier within 30 days of receiving the return labels.

Restocking Fee and Refund Conditions

If a return request is submitted within 14 days of delivery, customers will receive a full refund of the item subtotal and the applicable item tax. For return requests submitted after 14 days, a 20% restocking fee applies to the item subtotal. This fee covers the cost of inspection, repackaging, and reinventory processing.

Returns received in damaged or compromised condition may be declined or may result in additional deductions. Refunds are processed only after:

  • The product is returned and approved by Sohnne’s quality control team
  • All required documentation is provided

The inspection process takes up to 30 business hours upon receipt of the following:

  • Clear photos of the product
  • An unboxing video (if applicable)
  • Supporting documents such as proof of purchase or shipping confirmation

Shipping Fees, Taxes, and Refund Calculation

All shipping-related fees and taxes—including original shipping, return shipping, and shipping tax—are non-refundable. Even when a promotion such as “free shipping” is applied at checkout, actual shipping costs are incurred and will be deducted from the total refund.

Refunds may include:

  • The item subtotal (after restocking fees, if applicable)
  • Sales tax applied to the item (shipping taxes excluded)

No reimbursement will be issued for:

  • Shipping fees
  • Shipping taxes
  • Any promotional shipping benefits applied at checkout

Cancellations and Exclusions

Orders canceled within 12 hours of placement and before the item has been picked for shipment are eligible for a full refund.

Orders canceled after 12 hours, but before the item is processed for shipping, are eligible for a refund of the subtotal minus a 5% processing fee.

Orders that are already in transit cannot be canceled. Customers must wait for the item to be delivered before initiating a return. Refusing delivery does not count as a valid cancellation and will not be accepted.

Product-Specific Return Guideline

Products that are customized or produced based on special requests are considered final sale and are not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund after order confirmation. These items are made specifically per request and cannot be restocked.

Made-to-order items are subject to a 30% restocking fee for returns and cancellations, reflecting the custom manufacturing and handling costs incurred.

Final sale, clearance, Full Cycle, or discontinued items are not eligible for return or warranty protection.

Regional Return Restrictions

We DO NOT accept international returns.
We DO NOT accept returns from Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

Orders of Five or More Items

Orders containing five or more items are classified as bulk orders and are prioritized in production and fulfillment. Once confirmed and paid, bulk orders cannot be canceled for any reason. We advise customers to review their cart and delivery details carefully before placing a bulk order.

Packaging Claims

By signing the delivery receipt, the customer confirms the order was received in acceptable condition. Claims regarding packaging damage will not be accepted once the delivery has been signed for. If any visible damage is present, the delivery must be refused at the time of arrival in the presence of the carrier, and the issue must be reported immediately.

Missed Delivery

If no one is available at the time of delivery, the order will be marked as unsuccessful. A return shipping fee will be charged to cover transportation and rescheduling costs. Missed deliveries are not valid grounds for cancellation or refund. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is present to receive the order at the agreed time.
